Welcome to Espresso Cloud. This checklist walks you through the key setup steps — from connecting your own server to running your first ERPNext site.
1. Connect your server (BYOC)
Provision a VPS in your cloud account, run the Espresso setup script, and connect it from the dashboard. You keep full control of the infrastructure.
2. Create your first site & enable Hydra
From Frappe Sites, create a site, add your apps, and check Enable Hydra if you want the in-desk AI assistant. Once the site is live, assign Hydra User or Hydra Admin roles so your team can use it.

3. Set up Custom Migrator
Install the Migrator app on your site, connect your Git repo, and export ERPNext customizations to version-controlled code.
4. Day-to-day site operations
Once your site is running, use the Site Management page for backups, restores, deploys, and rollbacks. For off-site protection, configure S3 backups.

5. Static sites (optional)
Need to host a frontend app alongside ERPNext? Espresso can build and serve React, Vue, Angular, and other SPAs from a GitHub repo — with automatic HTTPS and custom domains on the same server.
